Hello World! I'm a game developer from Sao Paulo, Brazil. I have a B.S. degree in Computer Science and a post graduation in Game Production and Programming. After 5 years working as a programmer, I started in the mobile game industry in 2010 working at Glu Mobile. After that, I was hired by Electronic Arts in 2011 and become the lead software engineer of the Android team until 2013, when the studio was closed. I also created one of the most popular blogs about game development in Brazil (Game Developer
).

I started at Electronic Arts in 2011 as a Software Engineer in the Android team of the Sao Paulo studio, in Brazil. After my work on Bejeweled 2 and Tetris, I became the lead of the Android team and worked on two more titles, FIFA 12 and Scrabble. All these titles were developed in collaboration with the EA Montreal studio and released worldwide.
Scrabble is a famous table game published by Hasbro worldwide. This game was developed by EA Montreal with some help of our studio for the core game interface and the Android targets. This was my second project as the Lead Software Engineer for LATAM team.

FIFA 12 was an important turning point for my career, because during this project I leveled up to Lead Software Engineer of the LATAM team. This game was developed by EA Romenia for iOS devices, and after the release we started the Android version, with big problems to solve in order to run this game in many devices as possible and keep the EA quality standard.

Tetris is one of the most famous games of all time, and I was very happy when this project came to our team. This new version was developed using the EAMT, an internal framework built for mobile development. The core game and the iOS version was developed by EA Montreal, and our studio helped with the Android version.

The Bejeweled 2 was developed by PopCap Games, using its Sexy Framework (yes, that's the framework name). The porting for mobile devices was done by Electronic Arts Mobile using the Airplay SDK (now known as Marmalade SDK) as a layer for the mobile versions. This was my first project at EA, and our goal was to remove both Airplay SDK and the Sexy Framework and replace by the new Electronic Arts Mobile Technology (EAMT) framework.

My first job in the game industry was as a Software Engineer at Glu Mobile, in Sao Paulo. I had the opportunity to work with great professionals here and in other studios around the world.
