The Bejeweled 2 was developed by PopCap Games, using its Sexy Framework (yes, that's the framework name). The porting for mobile devices was done by Electronic Arts Mobile using the Airplay SDK (now known as Marmalade SDK) as a layer for the mobile versions. This was my first project at EA, and our goal was to remove both Airplay SDK and the Sexy Framework and replace by the new Electronic Arts Mobile Technology (EAMT) framework.
I started at Electronic Arts in 2011 as a Software Engineer in the Android team of the Sao Paulo studio, in Brazil. After my work on Bejeweled 2 and Tetris, I became the lead of the Android team and worked on two more titles, FIFA 12 and Scrabble. All these titles were developed in collaboration with the EA Montreal studio and released worldwide. The studio closed in 2013.
