Tetris is one of the most famous games of all time, and I was very happy when this project came to our team. This new version was developed using the EAMT, an internal framework built for mobile development. The core game and the iOS version was developed by EA Montreal, and our studio helped with the Android version.
I started at Electronic Arts in 2011 as a Software Engineer in the Android team of the Sao Paulo studio, in Brazil. After my work on Bejeweled 2 and Tetris, I became the lead of the Android team and worked on two more titles, FIFA 12 and Scrabble. All these titles were developed in collaboration with the EA Montreal studio and released worldwide. The studio closed in 2013.
